I'm Manish Kumar — a backend-first full stack engineer who enjoys building systems from the ground up and taking ownership from architecture to deployment. My work focuses on creating reliable backend services, scalable infrastructure, and developer-friendly tooling. I primarily work with Golang, React (TypeScript), and modern DevOps workflows.
My core expertise lies in Golang, Typescript and Devops, where I have hands-on production experience designing RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, and distributed backend systems. I spend a significant amount of time structuring projects, writing reusable internal libraries, and setting up CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Alongside backend work, I actively build frontend dashboards using React and TypeScript to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions.
Beyond day-to-day development, I enjoy creating internal tools and utilities that improve developer productivity, such as CLI tools and shared backend packages. I frequently work closely with stakeholders to plan system architecture and deployment strategies, ensuring technical decisions align with real business needs. Outside of engineering, I explore photography, video editing, and new technologies, and I strongly believe in continuous learning and building software that has practical, real-world impact.
